Our Story

Marsya Atelier is a jewelry brand by Lars and Mayra, designed and handmade in Berlin.

Mayra designs and makes every piece. Lars runs the business side - he's the one writing back when you get in touch and he handles the website, the brand and how the pieces are presented.

Marsya started from two sides. Lars has worn jewelry every day since he was a kid - it's been part of how he dresses for as long as he can remember. Mayra has always made things by hand, with an eye for craft and a feel for materials. Building a jewelry brand together brought both of those instincts into one place - Lars's sense of what he wanted to wear and Mayra's ability to actually make it.

Each collection is made in small batches using carefully chosen materials - silver, natural stones and finishes tested until they're right. Some pieces are simple, others take more shaping and refinement, but all of them are made with close attention to proportion, texture and how they sit in the hand.

Berlin is where Marsya is made. The time we spend in southern Spain shapes the work too - the warmth, the textures, the colours and the natural irregularity that inspired Terra.

Every piece is made by Mayra and checked by both of us before it goes out.
